Heathwatch Spring 2009 - A message from the Borough Inspecto

Over the past few months there has been a period of change at Camberley Police station. Robin Wood has retired as our Crime Reduction officer, and has beenreplaced by PC Debbie Reece. I am sure that she will provide an excellent service for Neighbourhood watches throughout the borough and be an asset to our Neighbourhood team.

There have also been some minor personnel changes within the Neighbourhood Policing team, but rest assured we will endeavour to maintain Surrey Heath as one of the safest borough's in Surrey. I encourage communication between my Policing team and the Neighbourhood Watch coordinators throughout the borough, and want to increase the contact between the NSO's, PCSO's and yourselves.

We have seen an increase in Burglaries across the borough in recent months and would ask you all to report anything suspicious, we cannot be complacent. Saying that, we are on target to achieve a drop in overall crime again this year, and I thank you all for your help and vigilance.
