Surrey Police has recently appointed a part-time (18 hours/week) NhW Administrator to deal with all NhW matters in Surrey Heath and based at Camberley Police Station. Her name is Madelene Etherington and she will work directly to PC Debbie Reece, the Crime Reduction Officer, who will retain overall responsibility for NhW but Madelene with take on the day to day tasks. Madelene is also a NhW Co-ordinator so has an understanding of NhW and how it operates.

Among other things she has recently taken over the responsibity for composing and distributing the weekly crime reports to Watch Co-ordinators who have registered as Active Citizens. She will also be responsible for organising the quarterly Watch Co-ordinators meetings and the bi-monthly Support Group meetings and all that entails. She will collect the HeathWatch from the printers and sort them out into the required numbers for each Watch. All this will free the other members of the Support Group from routine administration to allow them to focus on setting up new Watches and managing existing Watches.

She currently works all day Tuesday and Thursday and Monday morning. She can be contacted at Camberley Police Station by telephoning the police non-emergency number 0845 125 2222 or emailing 14132@surrey.pnn.police.uk.
